I had the pleasure of being a vendor at the Makers & Shakers Holiday Market at Rancho Guejito Vinyard in Escondido, California on Sunday, November 06, 2022.
This event had many firsts for me:
- Had a 10x10 booth space!
- TWO tables! (Wow! Growth!)
- I pitched a canopy tent for the first time in my life.
- This was my first time setting up at an event without any assistance.
- Was able to accept in-person card payments (thanks, Shopify!)
I had a blast vending on my own for the first time. It felt nice to connect with other like-minded small business owners and interact with other members of the dog-loving community.
My booth neighbors were the owners from H.Jo.Co. Soapworks and Camp Beige. Both were insanely talented and kindhearted ladies who welcomed my first "big" event day with welcome arms. They inspired me to continue my passions and made me feel like I was right where I was meant to be.
Gogi ended up dropping by to say hi! He walked around the event and took a nap with his dad while I was hard at work at my booth. My friends ended up stopping by to say hi also!
Overall, the event was a huge success and I enjoyed every single moment that I got to be out there showcasing my products.
