WHAT TYPE OF BANDANAS DO YOU MAKE?

BARKS & CRAFTS specializes in handmade, reversible snap on pet bandanas for dogs and cats.

Each bandana is made with 100% cotton fabric and features our signature four snap button design, allowing for an adjustable and comfortable fit. Simply wrap the bandana around your pet’s neck and snap it into place. No need to slip it over their head!

Our bandanas are handmade in San Diego, California, by our small family team of a wife, husband, and mom.

 

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE?

For the most accurate fit, we recommend measuring around your pet’s neck where the bandana will naturally sit.

XS: Neck up to 12" | Most dogs 12 lbs & under
S: Neck up to 15" | Most dogs 13–30 lbs
M: Neck up to 18.5" | Most dogs 30–60 lbs
L: Neck up to 22" | Most dogs 60–90 lbs
XL: Neck up to 26" | Most dogs 90+ lbs

Weight ranges are provided as a general guide only. Some breeds, including French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pomeranians, other broad necked breeds, and very fluffy pets, may fall outside of the typical weight recommendations.

When in doubt, measure your pet’s neck and size up if they are between sizes.

 

ARE YOUR BANDANAS ADJUSTABLE?

Yes! Each bandana features four snap buttons (two snaps on each end). This gives you multiple fit options within each size.

If additional adjustment is needed, you can also gently tie the bandana around your pet’s neck before securing the snaps.

 

ARE YOUR BANDANAS REVERSIBLE?

Yes! Our bandanas are reversible, giving your pet two wearable sides in one bandana.

ARE YOUR BANDANAS HANDMADE?

Yes! Every BARKS & CRAFTS bandana is individually cut, sewn, buttoned, and finished by our family in San Diego, California.

Because our products are handmade, slight variations in sizing, fabric print placement, and label positioning may occur. Pattern placement may also differ slightly from the product photos.

These small variations are a natural part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.

 

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We currently ship within the United States only.

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Our current processing time is 10–14 business days.

Because our products are handmade, some bandanas may be made or finished after your order is placed. Processing time is the amount of time needed to prepare your order and does not include weekends, holidays, or shipping transit time.

Once your order is ready, it will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage®, which typically takes approximately 2–5 business days in transit.

You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

 

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Standard USPS Ground Advantage® shipping is $9.99 within the United States.

 

DO YOU OFFER FREE SHIPPING?

Yes! Free standard shipping is automatically applied to online orders of $75 or more. No discount code is needed.

 

CAN I ORDER ONLINE AND PICK UP AT A MARKET?

At this time, online orders are not available for in person pickup.

Our online and in person inventories may differ. Some products shown as available online may still need to be made or finished, which is why our standard processing time applies to online purchases.

If you would like to shop without paying shipping, we recommend visiting us at one of our weekly pop ups or special events around San Diego.

 

WHERE CAN I SHOP BARKS & CRAFTS IN PERSON?

You can find us throughout San Diego at our weekly pop ups, farmers markets, and special events.

A selection of BARKS & CRAFTS bandanas is also available at several local pet shops and grooming businesses throughout San Diego County. Selection and availability vary by location.

 

WILL EVERYTHING ONLINE BE AVAILABLE AT YOUR POP-UPS?

Not always. Our online and in person inventories are separate, and product availability can vary by event.

Seasonal collections, new releases, and certain designs may also be available online or in person at different times.

Christmas 2026 - Available in-person & online beginning November 1, 2026
Lunar New Year 2027 - Available in-person & online in January 2027, specific dates TBD.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges.

Please review our sizing information and measure your pet’s neck before ordering. Weight and breed recommendations are intended as general guides and do not guarantee fit.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us with your order number and photos so we can review the issue and help find a solution.

 

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY BANDANA?

For best results, we recommend hand washing and air drying.

Bandanas may also be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on a cool or low setting.

Iron on low to medium heat as needed, avoiding direct contact with the snap buttons and cork label.

 

DO YOU MAKE CUSTOM BANDANAS?

At this time, we do not offer custom or personalized bandanas.

Our available designs can be found online and at our in-person pop-ups.

DO YOU OFFER WHOLESALE?

Yes! We offer wholesale ordering for qualifying bulk purchases.
