PET BANDANA SIZE GUIDE

Finding the right fit is easy! BARKS & CRAFTS bandanas are available in five sizes, from XS to XL, to fit pets of all shapes and sizes.

For the most accurate fit, always choose your size based on your pet’s neck measurement. Weight ranges and breed examples are provided as a general reference only.

HOW TO MEASURE

Using a soft measuring tape, measure around your pet’s neck where the bandana will naturally sit.

The measuring tape should sit comfortably around the neck without being too tight. Once you have your pet’s neck measurement, compare it with the size chart below.

SIZE CHART

XS — Neck up to 12"
Most dogs 12 lbs & under
Examples: Chihuahua, Yorkie, Toy Poodle

SMALL — Neck up to 15"
Most dogs 13–30 lbs
Examples: Shih Tzu, Maltese, Mini Dachshund

MEDIUM — Neck up to 18.5"
Most dogs 30–60 lbs
Examples: Beagle, Corgi, Cocker Spaniel, French Bulldog

LARGE — Neck up to 22"
Most dogs 60–90 lbs
Examples: Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd

XL — Neck up to 26"
Most dogs 90+ lbs
Examples: German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Great Dane, Cane Corso, English Bulldog

BETWEEN TWO SIZES?

If so, we recommend sizing up.

Each BARKS & CRAFTS bandana features four snap buttons, giving you multiple adjustment options. A larger bandana can be adjusted to fit smaller when needed.

For additional adjustment, you can also gently tie the ends of the bandana around your pet’s neck before securing the snaps.

A NOTE ABOUT WEIGHT & BREED

Every pet is built differently, so weight and breed alone should not be used to determine size.

Some breeds may fall outside of our typical weight recommendations because of their neck shape, body proportions, or coat.

French Bulldogs, English Bulldogs, Pugs, Pomeranians, other broad necked breeds, and very fluffy pets may need to size up.

For example, a smaller French Bulldog may weigh within our Small weight range but require a Medium because of their wider neck.

When your pet’s neck measurement and weight suggest different sizes, go by the neck measurement.

HOW SHOULD A BANDANA FIT?

Your pet’s bandana should sit comfortably around the neck without feeling tight or restrictive.

You should be able to comfortably fit two fingers between the bandana and your pet’s neck.
